THE NAME
A beer.
A waterfall.
A sunset.
Why Sunset Falls?
Years ago, this was a rough A-frame cabin surrounded by untouched woods. One evening — sitting streamside, beer in hand — you could feel the sunset falling over the ridge. Quiet. Majestic. The place wasn’t named for a feature. It was named for this: a sky that’s never the same twice. Storms rolling through, clearing to big blue sky fifty miles into the horizon.
The home sits at 1,400 feet. The property — 167 private acres — climbs toward the summit of Woodruff Mountain at 1,640 ft. Rocky, rugged, largely untouched, consciously maintained.
THE HOME
MADE
FOR THIS
Sunset Falls was built for the thing most homes attempt and few achieve: affording a large group to feel simultaneously together and entirely at home, with enough room for everyone to find their own rhythm.
Three floors. Six bedrooms. One great room that earns its name. A Tavern Room for playing. Balconies for reading, real conversations, unhurried mornings, long afternoon lunches in the sun.
Thoughtful details throughout, gathered by season — the right book, fresh flowers, a perfect pillow, a new trail just found.
